While we've met with some interesting people, who come from interesting places, we can't help but wonder how they went about naming the places around this state.
Some people come from Kampung Pak Katak. Losely translated it's "Uncle Froggie's Village".Somewhere between Kuala Berang and Wakaf Tapai, which itself is a funny name for a place, you'll find Sungai Tergeliat... Sprained River!!
Do visit Terengganu.. Where nature embraces heritage... or so the Visit Terengganu motto goes...

if you are KT and ask people where T'gganu Equestrian Resort is, suprisingly not many will know about it. But if you ask where TER is they can blindly direct you there.
still waiting to know if there is market in T'gganu...for Herbalife!
Mr. Stand-up comedian, I don't think there is a market for your Herbalife here.
Terengganu people are very healthy. Their keropok lekor contains lots of fish protein, which gives them lots of energy and helps them recover from hard fishing. They also exercise a lot. Every evening you can find people jogging or riding a bicycle in town. Besides keropok lekor, they also get their source of vitamins from lempeng nyior and ketupat sotong, apart from satar and turtle eggs.
I think you better try Cambodia or Laos.
Ah when you mentioned satar, I'm drooling all over.
Must try the ones in Kemaman. I was told they are the best. Anyway I saw the 100m races live on TV1...
Nothing like the Azmi-Watson rivalry lah.
Don't forget to come back to KL.
I am sure there are a lot of interesting signages in KL also.
Pedal power anonymous.
Satar in Kuala Kemaman to be exact. A short drive off the main road, before you reach fishing heaven, stalls on the left and right.
The ones there have a kind of sweet, gula melaka-like after taste, with a pleasantly sticky texture to the leaf wrappings that keep you licking your fingers while unwrapping and stuffing your self.
Otak2 there also not bad, but in my ranking, Parit Jawa near Muar has the best.
na pi ata barah, dol, brapa tambeh ?
